Spy Next Door stars martial arts expert Jackie Chan as Bob Ho, an undercover CIA superspy who decides to give up his career in espionage to settle down with his next-door neighbor and girlfriend, Gillian (Amber Valletta). But Bob has one more mission to complete before Gillian agrees to marry him: winning over her three opinionated kids.

The flick, also starring Madeline Carroll, Billy Ray Cyrus and George Lopez, hits theaters on January 15, 2010.

Lucas said, “I’m Corporal Grayson, a Marine who has to defend the world — or defend Los Angeles more specifically — from the invasion of we-don’t-know-what. I can say that I surf for a little bit in the movie before the action starts really picking up, but once the action does start picking up, that’s it — pure action for the rest of the movie.”

He may have dated teen queen Taylor Swift, but these days, Lucas Till is living the dream in the action flick, “Battle: Los Angeles,” set for release next year. The film, which also stars Aaron Eckhart, Ne-Yo, Michelle Rodriguez and “True Blood” star Jim Parrack, revolves around a troop of marines trying to save The City of Angels. Lucas certainly has left “Hannah Montana” behind.

“It’s basically any 19-year-old guy’s dream job. I get to go to work and shoot guns all day so it’s pretty awesome,” he told MTV News. “It’s basically an unknown force attacks Los Angeles and it revolves around this platoon of marines, which I’m apart of, and then we try to save Los Angeles. And it’s kind of like ‘Independence Day’ and ‘Black Hawk Down’ mixed.”

Not only is the gun shooting a ton of fun for the actor, but he also loved the actors he got to work alongside for the film. “Aaron is a workaholic! He just basically goes in. He broke his arm and I would never have known. He still went to work the same as if nothing had happened, which I respect a lot,” Lucas said. “That is work ethic!”

As for Michelle, “she was playing ‘Call of Duty’ in the hotel with us like all the time,” he added. “And then Ne-Yo … I gotta say he’s one of the coolest people I have ever met with that much attention on his shoulders.”

Lucas Till and Taylor Swift appeared in “Hannah Montana: The Movie” together before sharing a juicy kiss in Taylor’s VMA-winning video, “You Belong with Me.” Little did we all know then: the two teen stars had, in fact, taken their onscreen romance to the next level and dated for a bit.

Lucas told MTV News, while chatting with us about his upcoming flick, “Battle: Los Angeles,” that he really liked the singer, but the relationship lacked a certain something for the pair to keep the real life love alive.

“We dated for a little bit. But, there was no friction because we were too nice,” he explained about his relationship with Taylor. “We just really both liked each other … [but] most relationships work out cause you get along and then you don’t, and then you make up and its passionate, and with us I really just liked her as a friend. That’s the only reason that didn’t work out.”

Back in August, he spoke to MTV News about his onscreen lip locks with both Miley Cyrus and Taylor, noting that of the two, Taylor was his preferred spit-swapping partner. And, he’s still standing by that decision. “I chose Taylor Swift and I’m gonna stick with that answer,” he said.

Well, these days Taylor’s been spotted hanging out with Taylor Lautner. So, who would Lucas like to date? Well, apparently he has a thing for older ladies. “They are a little too old for me — I’m actually looking at the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ poster right now — but Rachel McAdams is so hot and so talented and I really want to kiss her,” he joked. “I really respect her career as well and I love talented actresses and she happens to be the complete package.”

Celebrities are getting in on the iPhone craze by releasing their own apps with which fans can get access to exclusive photos, information and more. Lucas Till, Britney Spears and Twilight’s Peter Facinelli are just a few of the many stars to jump on the tech bandwagon, all charging $1.99 for their apps. But is it worth it?

Paying for exclusive content isn’t anything new — plenty of stars have fan clubs that require membership fees — but many people feel that celebs who charge their own devoted fans for access are in the wrong. However, celebrities maintain that they’re providing their followers a service or reward by offering them content they wouldn’t normally be able to get, even if it’s at a cost.

In our recent interview with Lucas, the 19-year-old actor talks about his app, explaining its features and why he thinks it’s worth downloading.

“It has exclusive pictures you can only get by looking at my application,” he told JSYK. “I can post videos, and I can send voicemails…for all of the fans who buy it, so it’s kind of cool.”

Lucas’s app also ties into the map function of the iPhone, allowing users to figure out how far they are from landmarks in the actor’s life — where he grew up, where he went to high school, etc.

“I can Twitter from there, too,” he said.

Lucas Till stars in one of the creepiest webisodes this Halloween season on FearNET. While this Disney heartthrob is known best for playing Miley Cyrus’ love interest in Hannah Montana: The Movie, Till opts for a different role in a Fear Clinic exclusive: Hydrophobia!

Lucas plays a traumatized young man named Brett, whose biggest fear is one of the most common things on earth: water. While attending Fear Clinic, Brett is forced to take hallucinogens and face his fear. Once in the vault, Brett starts to envision some of the most frightening images you would have to see to believe!
